Newborn Sleep Help

You've been exhausted since the day you got home. While being sleepy is a part of being a new mother or parent, you're worried you'll never sleep again. You've made it through the first weeks weeks at home but now you're facing the end of maternity leave and the transition back to work. Whether working from home or the office, you and baby need sleep.

You’re going back to work. You're not sure how baby will adjust once you go back to work. How do I ensure I can still breastfeed? How do you get baby on a schedule? You're doing everything you can to get your baby to sleep but you don't want to have to bounce, rock, wear, feed or drive baby around to get him or her to fall asleep. You want a solid plan to help your child start sleeping through the night and be on a good nap schedule. When your baby sleeps at night, you sleep too!

Baby will need to adjust to a new daycare/nanny/caregiver. You're going back to work soon and you have lots of ways to get your newborn to sleep for naps and at bedtime. And you want to ensure that your baby's caregiver, nanny or daycare provider will be able to get baby to sleep.

Imagine how you’ll feel when your baby falls asleep easily. You’ll feel more put together, organized and less stressed. You’ll no longer need to search the internet for ‘help my baby sleep' at 2am, read another book about sleep or have to try another piece of advice. You’ll no longer fear bedtime because you and your child will enjoy the quality time together and you'll know exactly how to handle getting baby to sleep. Imagine being able to lay your baby down in their crib and say goodnight. Best of all, you and your baby will get restful sleep at night.

Does any of this feel familiar to you?
  • Is your baby awake all night and won't nap during the day?
  • Does your child rely on you to always falls asleep using sleep props such as rocking, swinging, pacifier, Snoo, nursing, etc.?
  • Are you unsure when you should start to have a schedule for baby?

When you work with me, you will:
  • Sleep at night without having to wonder how you’ll get your baby back to sleep.
  • Understand your baby's sleep cues and know how to implement a regular sleep schedule.
  • Be able to teach your baby how to fall asleep independently using methods you choose, whether formula-fed, bottle or breastfed.
  • Learn how to reduce and eventually eliminate night feedings when baby is ready.
  • Learn how your baby's sleep will change through the first year and how to mitigate dreaded sleep regressions, growth spurts and teething.
  • And best of all, you'll have the support of a recognized children's sleep expert to support you and ensure you see progress!

Whether breastfed or formula fed, you'll learn how to recognize when your baby is tired, how to keep night feedings simple & easy and how to start your baby on the path to sleeping through the night. This is NOT sleep training of any sort, it's an education about your baby's sleep and how to introduce healthy sleep habits. Even if you're using the Snoo or other motion bassinet, you can help your baby sleep better at night. We'll use our time to go over your newborn's current situation and show you how to help your newborn sleep.

No need to sleep train later when you start your baby off right!
  • Learn to Navigate Common Sleep Challenges: such as dreaded regressions, swaddle transition, rolling, what to do about night feedings, handling illnesses, nap transitions and even how to travel with baby so you can continue the great sleep as baby grows!
